Halo Upmix produces a coherent spatial upmix that preserves the character of the original: real-time analysis extracts locational cues, neural network-powered dialog recognition places speech front and centre, and with the Exact function engaged any later downmix preserves the balance of the original mix. Halo Downmix enables precise downmixing, surround fine-tuning and rebalancing, for current projects as well as archive material. The 3D extensions add 5.1.4, 7.1.2 and 7.1.4 to both plug-ins, with Halo Upmix also gaining 1st, 2nd and 3rd order Ambisonics. Halo Vision offers seven customisable modules for real-time analysis of phase correlation, frequency content and location, particularly helpful in untreated or unfamiliar listening environments or when dealing with ear fatigue.
