A parametric balancing control that lets you move specific frequency ranges within the stereo panorama without altering the rest of the sound image.

Stereoplacer works much like an EQ: you tune bands to specific frequencies, isolate them with the solo controls and place them anywhere in the stereo image while the balance of the original material is preserved. Bell, high shelf and low shelf curves plus additional harmonically linked bell curves allow subtle redistribution as well as powerful corrections. For example, the attack of a bass guitar can be moved to one side while the low frequencies stay in the centre. Typical uses include poor microphone placement, sample loops, restoration and adding stereo detail to mono recordings.
