An upmix plug-in that turns stereo material into natural, coherent surround mixes up to 7.1 for TV, film, restoration and sound design.

Halo Upmix analyses stereo material in real time, extracts locational cues and extends the panorama without adding artificial reverb, chorus or delays. Centre channel management with switchable, neural network powered dialog isolation suits archive restoration, TV and feature film work, and in Exact mode downmix compatibility with the original is precisely preserved. A spatial analysis view shows the energy distribution of the upmix. Supported layouts are LCR, 3.1, 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 and 7.1; the optional 3D Immersive Extension, not included, adds Dolby Atmos bed tracks (7.1.2), Auro 3D (7.1.4) and Ambisonics.
