A stereo width plug-in that adds natural width and depth to mono and stereo recordings while remaining fully mono compatible.

Stereoizer 3 uses algorithms based on the way the human ear perceives width: the IID (Interaural Intensity Difference), ITD (Interaural Time Difference) and Linear Width controls work independently, with Linear Width acting more subtly and leaving the centre of the mix untouched. As no artificial reverb, chorusing or delay is added, the mono signal stays clean of artefacts, and the collapse-to-mono option lets you check compatibility on the fly. A stereo frequency analysis from 20 Hz to 22 kHz shows how the stereo field deviates from the centre. Applications range from mixing and sound design to post production and restoration.
