An optional extension for Halo Upmix that adds the height dimension, for Dolby Atmos compatible 7.1.2 bed tracks and Ambisonics.

The 3D Immersive Extension adds vertical controls to the Halo Upmix interface, including Ltm and Rtm placement for Dolby Atmos compatibility. An additional real-time analysis view shows the energy distribution of the output in the vertical dimension, and the enhanced algorithm keeps all original features such as dialog isolation and individual channel output control available at the same time. Alongside 7.1.2 bed tracks, the extension enables upmixing to 1st, 2nd and 3rd order Ambisonics (AmbiX) for VR applications. Typical uses include sound design, film scores, restoration and archive work, music and atmospheric soundscape production.
