The pitch freezer plug-in that instantly freezes any sound in time and pitch, whether a vocal, a drum beat or even noise.

Triggered by MIDI notes, I Wish instantly creates a tiny loop of audio set at the wavelength of the incoming notes, producing pitched stutter effects, robotic sounds and soundscapes. The plug-in is both a synthesiser and a granular effect, offers pitch-based micro-editing on the fly with real-time polyphonic wavetable synthesis and modulates pitch and formant. The concept comes from the electronic music duo Infected Mushroom, who painstakingly chopped loops at the wavelength level for their track “I Wish” and used the Polyverse prototype themselves for two years. Since the result depends on the audio and MIDI you feed it, it always sounds personal and unique.
