PITCH FIEND is a vocal mutation plug-in that turns any voice into a character, with real-time pitch and formant shifting, three retune engines and an FX rack.

Pitch and formants can be shifted independently by up to 12 semitones each, or coupled with LINK for a tape or sample character; phase-locked formants keep the voice natural even at large shifts. The three retune engines work differently: Transpose shifts musically with formants locked, Quantize snaps to the nearest note, and Robot forces every syllable to one target note – Robot and Transpose can also follow MIDI notes from your keyboard. An FX rack with drive, filter, chorus, tempo-synced delay with independent left and right divisions, convolution reverb with 12 spaces and a latency-compensated dry/wet mix finishes the sound – for demon ad-libs, robot hooks, pitched doubles, harmonies and melody changes.
