A precise equalizer for mastering and mixing that works as a surgical tool as well as a colour processor for sound design.

PSP MasterQ 2 offers seven filters: 12, 24 and 36 dB/oct low cut and high cut, low and high shelves that can be switched to peaking, and low-mid, mid and high-mid peaking filters, all with frequency and Q adjustable over a wide range. Every filter uses 80-bit extended floating point computation for optimal operation even at the lowest frequencies with high gain and Q, while FAT double sampling ensures proper filter behaviour at the highest frequencies without sample rate conversion artefacts. Limiting and soft-clipping algorithms keep the signal from peaking digitally, and the EQ graph shows the overall curve as well as each filter.
