PSP Xenon separates gain control and peak limiting into two stages to achieve particularly transparent limiting. The entire signal path runs at 64-bit precision at sample rates up to 192 kHz, and a program-dependent release adapts to the material to minimise artefacts. Look-ahead, adjustable link and knee controls and clipping management that prevents digital overs while preserving transient punch make it especially suited to mastering and other critical audio applications. The stereo image stays coherent even under heavy gain reduction.
