A dither and noise-shaping processor that preserves the quality of mixes, groups and individual tracks throughout recording and mastering.

PSP X-Dither covers a wide range of situations in which dithering or noise shaping is needed to maintain the quality of an original mix, group or individual track – during recording, mastering and the final digital master. Various dithering algorithms and noise-shaping curves can be matched to the material to minimise audible quantisation noise. The Auto Black function automatically mutes the dither noise during silence, and the target bit depth is chosen to suit the intended output format.
