The Kontakt edition of Voices of Native America V1 was recorded on the reservation and in Salt Lake City, Utah, and produced with respect by Douglas Morton and Douglas Spotted Eagle. It covers hundreds of single drum hits, solo and group vocal chants, playable Native American flutes with expressive flute motifs, plus shakers, bell dresses and other ceremonial instruments, captured with Audio-Technica microphones and John Hardy preamps. The carefully programmed collection is suited to film scoring, ambient soundscapes and traditional rhythms, and Q Up Arts asks that it be used with care.
