For Voices of the Aztecs, instruments from archaeological digs in Mexico were meticulously sampled and turned into playable virtual instruments, from the huehuetl drum and water drums to wooden percussion, clay flutes, ocarinas and the sea shell horn. The library adds lots of single hits, loops and Nahuatl poetry recitations performed by Santos de la Cruz, a poet of Aztec descent. It is suited to film scoring, game audio and atmospheric soundscapes.
