Vintage samples from the original E-Mu EII library Universe of Sounds, prepared as playable instruments for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Universe of Sounds V1 brings the sounds of the original E-Mu EII library, assembled by Doug Morton, into Kontakt: creamy yet gritty, with the lo-fi character of the original companded 8-bit samples at a 27 kHz sample rate. These sounds were heard on many records in the 1980s, including productions by Depeche Mode, Peter Gabriel and Thomas Dolby. The interface offers a Vintage button that reverts to the unprocessed mono sound just like the original hardware, basic synthesis controls with ADSR, filters and velocity-to-filter, plus a convolved Lexicon reverb from the mid-80s for period-correct ambience.
