The first volume of the Master Studio Collection from OMI’s Universe of Sounds series, with pianos, guitars, percussion, world instruments and much more, originally created for the Emu EIII sampler and prepared for Native Instruments Kontakt.

The original samples were created and programmed by OMI’s sound department, Reflective Arts, namely Douglas Morton, David Hannibal and Steve Boeddeker; the Kontakt version was programmed by Michael Scott Struble and Douglas Morton, with GUI and script by The Professor at Rhythmic Robot. Aimed at keyboard players, the collection contains no loops but playable stereo and mono multisamples at 16-bit with variable sample rates. Patches include Steinway1, Elec. Grand, Ovation 6Str, Bozouki, Santur, Celtic Harp, Bamboo Flute, Steel Drums, Congas, Fat Oberheim, FM Analog, Attack D-50, Sax+Brass, Operatic Men and SFX. The instruments load easily from Kontakt’s file view, the browser or the Quick-Load menu.
