Pristine Peaks is an ultra-low distortion mono and stereo peak limiter for mixing and mastering whenever the utmost transparency in peak control is required.

Instead of saturating or clipping waveform peaks, Pristine Peaks determines what needs to be done to control them and applies that gain change to the entire waveform. The result is a very clean sound that does not break up or distort even at high amounts of gain reduction, with extremely low THD that does not increase with gain reduction – ideal for music and post-production whenever clean, high-quality limiting without saturation or clipping is required. Because the process needs a considerable amount of latency, Pristine Peaks is not suitable for live or tracking applications.

Features

• Oversampling option for inter-sample peak (ISP) detection
• Four dither choices for 16 and 24 bit

• Gain Comp for monitoring at unity gain and Attenuation Delta for hearing what the limiter removes
• Stereo cross-linked or independent left/right gain reduction, post-limiter, pre-dither output fader
