A harmonic exciter EQ that adds musical harmonics and perceived loudness without significantly raising peak levels.

Unlike a traditional equaliser that simply boosts or cuts frequencies, HarmonEQ generates harmonics in three parallel bands (LO shelf, MID peak, HI shelf) and sums them back with the dry signal, so the bands interact musically and the natural tonal balance is preserved. Each band uses one of six saturation types (MAIN, TUBE, WARM, SOLID, TAPE or CLEAN), and Stereo or Mid-Side mode lets you shape mid and side content independently, each with its own gain, EQ, low and high cut and a dynamics section with Expand, Compress and Transient shaping. The Normal, Medium and Best quality modes offer 1x, 2x or 4x oversampling with Kaiser-windowed FIR filtering, while De-Emphasis, the automatic Scoop control against low-mid muddiness, Clip 0dB and the x2 switch refine the tone. Phase-aligned dry/wet mixing and automatic latency compensation keep the signal path clean.
