A circuit-level recreation of a 1980s Simmons-style drum synthesizer, expanded with new waveforms, tempo-synced LFOs and hybrid audio/MIDI triggering.

SY-1K Trigger Rhythm uses dual CMOS 4069 triangle oscillators with temperature drift, authentic filter pole spreading and envelope sweeps to deliver the unmistakable toms, snares and zaps of the original hardware. Twelve oscillator modes (seven vintage, five modern), bipolar LFOs up to 50 Hz with host sync and sample and hold for random pitch on every hit take it well beyond vintage limits. Shape drums with velocity-sensitive pitch dives, drive with four saturation stages and chromatic key tracking, or fire it from audio gates for classic gated-reverb toms. Five trigger modes, zero latency and solid automation make it ready for the stage, whether for retro pop or futuristic EDM percussion.
