The officially endorsed software recreation of the Maselec MLA-4, developed in collaboration with Leif Mases for mixing, mastering and stem processing.

The MLA-4 combines compression up to 6:1 and expansion down to 1:2 in each of its three bands, which work both independently and interactively. This lets you tighten low-end boom while lifting the highs, or recover lost transients in over-processed mixes. Auto Spectral Balance prevents tonal shifts, per-band THD control adds analogue warmth exactly where it is needed, and a five-mode sidechain linking system adapts the behaviour to the material. Per-band solo, left/right cuts and independent channel monitoring make precise adjustments easier.
