The officially endorsed plug-in version of the Maselec MEA-2, developed in collaboration with Leif Mases, for mastering and demanding mixing work.

The MEA-2 brings the hand-tuned, asymmetrical Unique Q curves of the hardware into the DAW. Its broad shelving filters span a wide frequency range, so highs shimmer without becoming piercing and lows gain depth without muddiness. Unlike the original hardware, the plug-in offers a Mid/Side mode on every band as well as Solo Isolation for pinpointing frequencies and resonances. Stereo link per band, a balance control, advanced preset management and a resizable interface round out the workflow.
