Q82 2.0 uses resonators that replicate the natural behaviour of sound travelling through the air instead of merely calculating reflections, and machine learning captures the quirks of the hardware as well. Two reverb engines, each with four outputs, let you fine-tune the width and front-to-back depth of the reverb in real time. Seven room sizes from 1 to 1 million cubic metres, an adjustable first reflection and Enhance mode for three-dimensional depth with minimal reverb extend the possibilities. Two algorithms based on a German and a US unit, plus the Temperature control from cold start to a unit left on for 72 hours, shape the character.
