The plug-in brings the Vari-Pan circuit of the Rhodes MK8 to any track as a self-contained auto-panner for keys, synths, guitars, vocals and beats.

The auto-panning circuits of the Rhodes Suitcase pianos moved the instrument’s mono signal from left to right across the stereo field; the directly modelled Vari-Pan circuit of the MK8 takes this concept further with four waveshapes (square, sine, triangle, ramp) and a rate range from almost stopped up to audio rates for ring-mod-like and synth-like effects. The Vari-Wave fader morphs continuously between the waveforms, the Slew and Smooth faders shape the curve further, and with Sync engaged the rate follows your DAW’s tempo in note divisions. Left and right panning LEDs and a parameter readout show what is happening, every control can be automated in your DAW, and V-Pan works live or in the studio on any audio source.
