As the official Rhodes MK8 electric piano software, the V8 captures all the nuance and character of the flagship: over 30,000 samples recorded at 96 kHz and 24 bit, up to 127 velocity layers per key and 14 articulations, including sustains, various staccatos, portamentos and legatos, note-offs, sympathetic resonances and mechanical noises. A parametric EQ with Low Gain, Mid Gain, Mid Freq and High Gain shapes the core tone, the diode-based Drive control ranges from crunch to heavily distorted sounds, and the envelope control creates auto-wah effects. 72 factory presets and 72 factory profiles provide a quick start in the studio and on stage.
