Created by the team behind Rhodes Anthology and expertly sampled by Rhodes’ sound designers, the instrument captures the warmth, grit and timeless tone of the 200A, immortalised by Ray Charles, Queen, Supertramp, Beck and countless others. Its one-knob-per-function interface designed by Axel Hartmann offers a 200A preamp with volume and drive, the MK8 EQ with sweepable mids, an emulation of the original 200A mono vibrato circuit and bucket-brigade chorus, VCA phaser and bucket-brigade delay from the MK8 and V8 Pro, with vibrato and effects syncable to your DAW’s tempo. Timbre Shift re-voices the instrument in real time, Global Tune adjusts the overall pitch, pedal noise can be added or removed, and amp models, a model of the original front-facing speakers and dynamic or cardioid mics shape the sound; velocity curve and depth, right-click MIDI learn and presets complete the instrument.
