Classic Rock Piano is a Steinway grand multisampled at six velocities for the Yamaha Motif XS, Motif XF and MOXF, recorded at Emblem Studios in Calabasas, California.

Emblem Studios was formerly known as American Recording, where artists such as Carlos Santana, Billy Preston, Three Dog Night, Bonnie Raitt and Joe Cocker recorded. The piano was captured through the studio’s famous Trident A Range console using the same microphones and miking techniques as many classic rock records. The 491 MB library loads into the Motif as a voice and serves as an expressive piano for rock and piano-based productions.
