Yamaha Vintage Analog is a collection of classic Yamaha analogue instruments for the Motif XS/XF/MOXF, with the CS-80 and CS01 synthesizers, the SK50D Symphonic Ensemble, the CP-30 Electric Piano and the GX-1.

The GX-1 sampled is perhaps the most famous of them all: the instrument used by John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), which he sold to Keith Emerson (ELP) and which later went to Hans Zimmer. Added to this are the electric piano and harpsichord of the CP-30, strings from the SK50D, basses and PWM pads from the CS01II and huge tones from the CS-80. Erik Norlander tailored the samples to the Motif’s element architecture with up to eight elements per voice, for example with single-oscillator waveforms and GX-1 samples with and without Auto Pitch Bend; 64 voices are ready to play, and 22 waveforms serve as a basis for your own sounds.
