The Alan Parsons Silver Sparkle Kit is a BFD3 expansion from the Alan Parsons Sample Project with a dampened 70s drum sound like the one Alan Parsons recorded with Pink Floyd and the Alan Parsons Project.

A vintage six-piece Ludwig silver sparkle kit was sampled in a famous London studio through the original EMI TG12345 mixing console used on albums such as Dark Side of the Moon, Band On The Run and Abbey Road. The kit comprises a 22-inch kick, 14-inch snare, 12- and 13-inch rack toms, 14- and 16-inch floor toms, 16- and 18-inch crashes plus hi-hat and ride. All instruments are sampled at multiple velocities with round-robin playback, all cymbals also with direct mics, and the Alan Parsons Black Oyster Kit and Nick Mason Drums make ideal companions.
