The Alan Parsons Vintage 70s Kit is a multichannel drum kit for BFD3 from the Alan Parsons Sample Project with the classic 70s sound of a dampened snare and toms.

This iconic drum sound can be heard on albums by Pink Floyd, the Alan Parsons Project and other artists from the early to mid 70s. A vintage Ludwig kit was recorded through the classic EMI TG12345 console, the same desk used on Dark Side of the Moon and Abbey Road. The five-piece kit comprises a 22-inch kick, 14-inch snare, 12-inch rack tom, 14- and 16-inch floor toms, 16- and 18-inch crashes plus hi-hat and ride, sampled at multiple velocities with round-robin playback and with direct mics on all cymbals.
