A drum kit expansion for BFD3 from the Alan Parsons Sample Project, featuring a Ludwig kit in the style of The Beatles recorded through original EMI consoles.

Early in his career, Alan Parsons worked with The Beatles on albums such as Abbey Road and Let It Be. For the Black Oyster Kit, a Ludwig “Fab Four Kit” was sampled through the original EMI TG12345 and R.E.D.D. consoles using the same vintage mics, authentically capturing this classic drum sound. The four-piece set consists of a 22-inch kick, 14-inch snare, 13-inch rack tom and 16-inch floor tom, plus 16- and 18-inch crashes, hi-hat and ride. All instruments are sampled in multiple velocities with round-robin playback, and direct mics are included on all cymbals.
