A versatile, ultra-clean three-band compressor for mastering, suitable for delicate material.

Each of the three independent frequency bands is processed by a compressor based on the Sonoris Mastering Compressor. The bands are created with carefully designed Linkwitz-Riley crossover filters that avoid phase cancellation, sound natural and analogue-like and mix back flat; alternatively, the crossover can run in linear-phase mode without colouration at the expense of a small delay. Via the variable link, each band can also work on the left, right, mid or side channel, for example to tame the bass in the mid channel or a snare hit in the left channel at 3 kHz while keeping the integrity of the mix intact.
