A seven-band parametric equaliser with linear-phase or minimum-phase operation selectable per band, suitable for mixing and especially mastering.

The Sonoris Mastering Equalizer enhances or corrects demanding material such as vocal and instrumental soloists, orchestral recordings and complex mixes without unwanted colouration, smeared transients or altered imaging and depth. Its linear-phase algorithm is based on backward-forward filtering and uses IIR instead of FIR filters, which filter in a more analogue way and are more efficient; the filters have correct gain up to Nyquist. Every band can process stereo, L, R, mid or side, for example to enhance a centred vocal or to centre a bass, and automatic or 2x, 4x and 8x upsampling ensures an even more accurate response at high frequencies.
