The education version of Doppler simulates objects moving through air and gives audio the highly accurate characteristics of sounds passing by, for sound design and audio post-production.

The plug-in controls every parameter that physically affects pitch, level and frequency response in the real world and uses the same engine as the Sound Particles software, which many Hollywood studios use for natural-sounding Doppler effects. Besides volume and pitch, Doppler also applies the frequency response caused by air damping over distance. For perfect sync with the picture, you set the time of the Doppler peak and all other parameters adjust automatically.

Features

• Physically accurate simulation of the pitch, level and frequency response of passing sounds
• Mono (omni, cardioid, figure-of-eight) and stereo (MS, XY, ORTF, Blumlein, AB) microphones
• Multichannel in 5.1, 7.1 and 9.1 Dolby Atmos bed, plus Ambisonics up to third order
• Picture sync via a freely set time for the Doppler peak
• Distance EQ based on air damping
• Metric and imperial units (metres/feet, km/h/mph), operation from control surfaces such as Avid S6
