Brightness Panner 2 turns the frequency content of your sound – brightness, pitch or MIDI notes – into dynamic, responsive motion without drawing automation, from stereo to 3D audio.

Brightness Panner 2 reads spectral brightness, pitch or incoming MIDI notes and turns them directly into pan position: the brighter the sound, or the higher the pitch or MIDI note, the more it moves. A synth line’s melody, a vocal’s shifting timbre or a MIDI performance can thus decide in real time where a sound sits in the mix. Like Energy Panner 2, with which it shares its panning engine, it offers Pan and Sliding modes, threshold, ratio, attack and release, a sidechain input, a built-in mixer, Virtual Center and the Circular, Polygon and Room views. New in version 2 are independent paths per channel, expanded input and output format support and custom speaker formats, among other things.
