The education version of AudioMatrix: a utility plug-in that routes any input channel to any output channel, with gain and polarity controls.

AudioMatrix simplifies routing tasks in stereo and immersive formats: the gain of each connection can be set quickly and precisely, and the polarity of any signal can be inverted, for example for Mid-Side conversions or subwoofer alignment. The plug-in works with all output formats from mono up to 64 channels and can, for instance, translate a 9.1.6 mix to 5.1 quickly and accurately. Typical uses include fold-downs from 7.1 to 5.1 and stereo, mirroring left and right channels, controlling individual channels and the LFE, and changing the channel order from 5.1 Film to 5.1 SMPTE. According to the manufacturer, the education version has no technical limitations.
