The first stage of POWAIR is a K-weighted loudness leveller, perfect for levelling a voice-over or automatically adjusting the loudness of different pieces of music, for example to EBU specifications. The second stage uses an innovative gain detection and reduction engine capable of fast gain changes with minimal distortion and an adaptive response to the source. Punch controls the level of transients during the attack stage independently of the attack time, while Adaptive Compression maintains an average compression action, adding intensity and glue while keeping natural dynamics. L/R and M/S processing with variable stereo link, side-chain filter, tempo-synced recovery time and automatic make-up gain complete POWAIR.
