Dynamic time alignment of moving location microphones makes it possible to mix boom and lav mics effectively with just a few clicks, eliminating comb filtering and phase artefacts caused by time-of-arrival differences. The second generation adds a new spectral phase correction module that compensates for phase shifts caused by electronic and acoustic filters, along with a refined algorithm and a reworked interface. Dynamic mode follows moving actors or cameras, while static mode corrects stationary microphones.
