Lamellophones brings together all of Soundiron’s Hopkin libraries released so far and adds two new instruments that are exclusive to this collection. Each of the 17 instruments, made of wood and steel, has its own organic tonal flavour, multiple microphone positions and hundreds of ambient soundscapes created from the source content. Plucks, bowed shorts and sustains, glisses, percussion and effects can be combined in an efficient modular four-layer interface, complemented by over 100 effect presets, an LFO system, filters, an arpeggiator and a modular effects rack with convolution reverb.
