Sick 3 “Dark Places” combines 175 dark horror environments, soundscapes and nightmare worlds with 335 convolution reverb impulse responses from eerie locations.

The library offers demonic creatures, feverish sonic delirium, shambling hordes and drones, plus authentic field recordings from the edge of a hurricane and from decrepit industrial, military and institutional ruins. The 335 stereo impulse responses were captured in places such as bunkers, prisons, graveyards, forests, warehouses and sewers at various distances and angles, and are supplied as WAV files for any convolution reverb that can import WAV impulses. In Kontakt you control attack, start offset, swell, release, tuning and the blend of two layers, use EQ, convolution reverb and an optional three-part legato – and you can even play the impulses like a drum in dedicated percussion presets.
