A massive percussion effects library built around bowed cymbals and gongs – for dark moods, transitions, stingers and soundscapes.

Soundiron recorded 20 cymbals of all shapes, sizes and alloys – crashes, splashes, gongs, bells, trash cymbals and even a stack of spent WWII howitzer shells. Each was bowed in dozens of variations, from short stabs to long tortured wails, and experiments with dry ice on the cymbal surfaces added squeals, hisses, screeches, drones, screams and rumbles. All effects come in two wide microphone positions, close up for full detail without room colouration or in a large hall for a lush, natural reverb, complemented by pads, drones, synths and evolving textures.
