The introductory orchestral string library: a chamber string ensemble with the essential articulations for songwriters, newcomers to orchestral writing and seasoned composers.

The string sections were recorded up close on the dry sound stage of the historic Studio A at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, giving a forward, robust sound, while spatialisation and positioning controls in the interface let you shape the room afterwards. Alongside a full ensemble preset there are presets for 8 violins, 6 violas, 5 cellos and 4 double basses, with multi-dynamic sustains with and without vibrato, staccatos, spiccatos, pizzicatos, crescendos and decrescendos. The Swell control crossfades smoothly from piano to forte, the sustain blend control mixes vibrato and non-vibrato, and the short articulations can be switched to velocity control. The library suits rock, pop and EDM as well as fully orchestral compositions.
