A virtual grand piano for soundtrack scoring, songwriting and orchestration, sampled from a walnut-bodied Kawai grand with a soft, warm and richly resonant tone.

All 88 keys were recorded with an average of ten velocity layers per key, including release and pedal action samples, using a close microphone position for a full, rich sound. Alongside the natural piano you get a large selection of sound-designed presets and effects patches, plus dozens of snapshot presets for common uses. The modular 10-slot FX rack combines 18 built-in Kontakt effects in any order and saves your own presets, complemented by a convolution reverb with more than 100 natural and FX environments and an adaptive arpeggiator in some presets.
