Nichole Dechaine (soprano), Kindra Scharich (alto), Brian Thorsett (tenor) and Joseph Trumbo (bass) were recorded over nearly 50 hours. The chromatic articulations include true legato on Ah and Oo, vowel sustains and staccatos on Ah, Eh, Ee, Mm, Oh and Oo in piano and forte, 12 Latin poly-sustains with speed control and simulated legato, and 23 Latin poly-staccatos with round robin. Thousands of dynamic live phrases in pure vowel, French, Latin, humming and whistling categories can be shaped with step sequencing, tempo control and phrase editing, while 425 pads, ambiences and drones crafted from the voices extend the library into underscoring, sound design and hybrid production.
