Evan “Severed” Seidlitz, Alecia “Mixi” Demner (Stitched Up Heart), Jason Kocol (Impaled), Aaron Boynton (The Sky We Scrape) and Redouane Aouameur cover a broad range of metal sub-genres with growls, screams, hisses and screeches. The Wordmaster dictionary holds 100 words as staccato and sustaining marcato variants, each switchable between guttural death and acidic scream tones, joined by hundreds of live phrases from nine songs that the Phrase Master lets you chop, sequence and recombine in sync with your tempo. Each voice was recorded dry with a Shure SM58 and a Neumann TLM 103, both mixable independently, and Mixi’s rock vocal sustains, ambiences and an FX rack with chorus, compression, distortion, amp and cab simulation, EQ, delay and convolution reverb complete the package.
