The sampled Yamaha Electone HC-4 from 1987, a Japanese FM synthesizer with synth sounds, piano, vibraphone, bells and drum loops.

The Electone series began as organs in the late 1950s and moved to digital synthesis in the 1980s; the HC-4 offered two 44-note keyboards, a foot pedal system, a rhythm machine and velocity-sensitive FM voices. Synth sustains, staccatos, piano, vibraphone, bells, tempo-syncable drum loops, hits and key effects were sampled in wide stereo with a pair of Neumann TLM 103 microphones and via the direct line output. 20 evolving ambient pads, 20 FX presets and controls for swell, glide, attack, release, vibrato and octave make this classic suitable for many genres.
