A solo vocal library capturing the powerful, classic operatic tenor of Brian Thorsett, designed as a companion to Voice of Rapture: The Soprano.

From a bombastic fortissimo to a gentle pianissimo, The Tenor offers playable chromatic articulations and emotionally charged phrases, recorded in a warm studio environment with two microphone types. Three true legato types (Ah piano, Ah forte, Oo piano) with infinite or natural sustain, release samples and three-voice polyphony are joined by vowel sustains with and without vibrato, 25 staccato syllables and twelve Latin chants spanning more than two octaves. The phrase section contains 1,358 improvised melodic phrases on vowels, Latin and French texts and humming, with tempo sync or time-stretching, plus whispers, breaths and sound-designed pads.
