From a bombastic fortissimo to a gentle pianissimo, The Alto offers plenty of creative freedom and was recorded dry in the studio with two microphone types. Four true legato types on Ah, Mm, Oh and Oo, captured with the long-form method, are joined by piano and forte sustains and staccatos on Ah, Ee, Eh, Oh and Oo, 29 Latin and vowel staccato words and twelve Latin chants with polyphonic legato, all with a range of over two octaves. 1,262 phrases in four categories – pure vowel, Latin, French and whistling – can be adapted with tempo sync, time-stretching, transposition and step sequencing, plus 48 ambient pads and instruments crafted from Kindra’s voice.
