A solo operatic bass vocal library capturing the booming, rich voice of Joseph Trumbo, with a wide range of chromatic articulations and melodic phrases.

From a bombastic fortissimo to a gentle pianissimo, The Bass offers plenty of creative freedom and was recorded dry in the studio with two microphone types. Three true legato types on Ah, Oh and Oo were captured using the traditional long-form method, alongside piano and forte sustains and staccatos on Ah, Ee, Eh, Oh and Oo, mezzo-piano hummed notes, 29 staccato syllables and words, and twelve Latin chants with a range of over two octaves. 1,466 phrases in five categories – pure vowel, Latin, French, humming and whistling – can be adapted with tempo sync, time-stretching, transposition and step sequencing, complemented by 74 ambient pads and instruments crafted from Joseph’s voice.
