An eclectic male tenor solo vocal library featuring Bryan Lane, aka Bryn, whose style draws on Middle Eastern music and American spiritual and gospel.

Bryn is trained in operatic technique, yet his personal style draws on much broader and older vocal traditions, bringing a dark, passionate intensity to his performances. He was recorded close in the studio with low-noise large-diaphragm Neumann microphones and Sound Devices preamps: true legato on Ah, Oo, humming and whistling, sustains on Oh and Uh, and staccatos with 4x round robin, in a natural range of D2 to D4, extended to C2 to G4. Over 2,000 phrases in Pure Vowel, Arabian, Southern gospel and soul, hummed and whistled styles are available in many keys and can be adapted with tempo sync, transposition and step sequencing.
