A vintage five-octave electronic organ from Italian maker Viscount, built in the 1970s, with a smooth tone and a warm, pleasantly fuzzy texture.

Like many suitcase organs and portable synths of the era, it has just a few core voices, a single speaker, a simple rhythm box and basic organ controls. Its stock presets were recorded dry in the studio with a pair of Neumann TLM 103 microphones, with sustain and staccato samples for each key. Swell, glide for monophonic legato, attack, release, vibrato, an octave control for octave doubling, LFO, filter, arpeggiator and an FX rack with convolution reverb make the sound highly adaptable.

Features

• Two main instruments with sustains, staccatos and sound-designed samples

• Octave control for added lower and higher octave doubling

• Convolution reverb with 119 impulses and multi-effects rack
• Unlocked WAV samples for import into almost any sampler or DAW
