A multi-sampled metallic tuned percussion library capturing an unusual hang drum, recorded at St. Paul’s Church in San Francisco.

Its eight tongues were played with a mallet and recorded with a close stereo pair of Neumann microphones for a dry, present sound and a second, distant stereo pair for an open, spacious sound. Articulations, tongues and microphone positions can be soloed chromatically, combined and layered. The sound pairs a smooth fundamental with complex harmonics, swirling overtones and a long, mellow sustain, and 20 ambience patches and 20 FX presets extend the possibilities.
