Tablas is a deeply sampled library of the Indian tabla with every classical articulation and more than 1,350 performance loops, created with tabla master and jazz percussionist Sameer Gupta.

The tabla consists of two hand drums of contrasting sizes and timbres; it was recorded close and dry in a medium-sized wood and masonry studio, covering every classical articulation along with many variants. The master preset offers four independent layers with swell, attack, start offset, release, vibrato, filter, pitch and crossfader, including an ambience layer with pads, synth tones and soundscapes created from the source recordings and a basic sub-synth with 10 waveforms. The loop preset contains more than 1,350 loops from 70 to 165 BPM with a browser, tempo filter, favourites and editing down to individual transient slices – suited to soundtracks, production music and much more.
